Action Alert!
Long-time Mu supporters, or movers and shakers in the Asian American Community here in the Twin Cities know that the idea of an Asian Pacific Cultural Center has long been in the making. A recent committee, of which I am a member, has arisen to make this idea a reality. The building promises to be a jewel of an institution for the API community, and Mu Performing Arts could become an anchor tenant! We'd have room for offices, rehearsal space and performances - all under one roof.
But we need your help to make this building a reality! In order to move forward on the project, we need to get approval for a bonding request from the legislature this session. You can help by taking a minute to write a letter to your state representative, senator, the governor, and/or other critical legislative personnel in support of the APCC.
Thank you and I hope you can help make this dream come true for everyone in Minnesota.
- Rick Shiomi, Artistic Director
