Kurt Kwan has been seen in several Theater Mu productions including Cowboy Versus Samurai, Romeo and Juliet, Song of the Pipa, Song for a Nisei Fisherman, and Maui and the Soul of the Sun. When he is not onstage, Kurt can be found on the Minneapolis Karaoke tour.

Katie Leo is an adopted Korean writer, actor and educator.  As an actor, she has worked with numerous Twin Cities theatre companies.  She is a core member of MaMa mOsAiC Theatre, a women of color collective with whom she co-wrote and co-produced Bride/price, which debuted at Mixed Blood Theatre in December of 2004. As a writer, she has had work published in 60 Seconds to Shine: 221 One-Minute Monologues for Men (Heinemann), Monologues from the Playwrights’ Center (Smith & Kraus), Talking Stick (Jackpine Writers Bloc), The Journal of the Asian American Renaissance, and HardKore, a literary magazine out of Koreatown, Chicago.  Her first solo written play, A Single Shard, was commissioned and produced by Stages Theatre Company in 2005.  She has been awarded a Blacklock Fellowship for Poetry, a Mentor Series for Poetry at the Loft Literary Center, and two Many Voices Residencies at the Playwrights’ Center.  In addition, Ms. Leo has performed work at various open mics and cabarets around the Twin Cities.
Allen Malicsi

Allen Malicsi has been a professional performer in the Twin Cities for 12 years. His performances have involved acting, vocal performance, dance, guitar and piano performance and also martial arts presentations. Theatrically, he has worked with such companies as Theater Mu, Park Square Theater, Stages Theater, No Manifesto Theater Co., The Cromulent Shakespeare Company and the Ronin Theater Company. In addition, Mr. Malicsi has performed for many theater productions produced by the Twin Cities Filipino community, which were staged at the Ordway Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Malicsi began his artistic career at the age of three at the Yamaha School of Music as a piano student. At the age of five his training took him to the MacPhail School of Music in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he also began his training in classical guitar. While studying political science at St. John’s University, he was classically trained as a tenor while continuing his training as pianist and classical guitarist.  He has studied the Korean art of Tae Kwon Do, Filipino Kali and Chinese Kempo for over 13 years. He is a certified instructor in Tae Kwon Do and is currently training for his 4th Degree Black Belt examination in June of 2005.

Sara Ochs was last seen at Mu in Happy Valley. Her other productions with Mu include The Great Family Tree, The Walleye Kid: The Musical, 99 Histories, and Pacific Overtures. Other credits include Steppingstone Theatre, North Star Opera, Park Square Theatre, Nautilus Music-Theater, and Theatre in the Round.

Jeany Park has been seen in Cowboy Versus Samurai, Happy Valley, 99 Histories, The Walleye Kid, Passage and Maui, Soul of the Sun, all at Mu.  Jeany also worked at many local theatre companies including the Guthrie, Penumbra, Mixed Blood, Illusion, Theatre Mu, The Minnesota Opera, Cheap Theatre, and Pillsbury House Theatre, and regionally at theatre companies such as the Madison Repertory Theatre, Victory Gardens, and ShawChicago. She has her MFA in Acting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is a founding member of MaMa mOsAiC, an all women of color theatre collective
Laurine Price

Laurine Price has been blessed with the opportunity to perform in Mu's productions of Pacific Overtures, Interior Designs, Falling Flowers, and Of Hope and Courage.  She was most recently seen in the role of Princess Jasmine in The Children's Theatre Company's production of Disney's Aladdin. Laurine has also performed with a number of other theaters in the Twin Cities, including: Nautilus-Music Theater, Minneapolis Musical Theatre, Park Square, the Illusion, Actors' Theater of MN, Penumbra, Pig's Eye, and the Chameleon Theatre Circle.  Laurine also does quite a bit of work with Print, Commericial, and Industrials... and is thrilled to announce that in her spare time - she will be seeing the pyramids of Egypt as 30th-birthday present to herself this year!

Sherwin F. Resurreccion has been seen in seven mainstage performance with Mu Performing Arts. Nurture and support from staff and other artists are key contributing factors to his growth as an artist. Kiseung Rhee

Kiseung Rhee

Kiseung Rhee has had an illustrious career in bringing to life aquatic creatures to the stage for Theater Mu in the past seven years (crab, shark, Dragon King, etc.), as well as non-aquatic roles (Uncle/Ajishe, Jung Li, Mercutio, Tiger, etc.). In addition to acting, Mr. Rhee cannot be defined as just as actor, but also as a playwright and director (not at the same time, mind you). His recent projects include the 2005 Next Wave Festival, the Nesian (commissioned by Theatro del Pueblo), and his own pet projects (like cleaning his room and doing taxes).
