 &lt;p&gt;As a playwright and director, Rick Shiomi has been one of the leading figures of the Asian American theater movement since the early 1980&#039;s. Relocating to Minnesota in the 1990&#039;s, he was one of the founders of Theater Mu and is presently the Artistic Director of the company under its new name, Mu Performing Arts.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mr. Shiomi&#039;s plays include the award winning Y&lt;em&gt;ellow Fever, Rosie&#039;s Cafe, Uncle Tadao, Play Ball, Mask Dance, The Raven In The Starfruit Tree, The Tale of the Dancing Crane&lt;/em&gt; and &lt;em&gt;Song of the Pipa&lt;/em&gt;. He also co-authored &lt;em&gt;The Walleye Kid&lt;/em&gt; with Sundraya Kase, &lt;em&gt;Hmong Tiger Tales &lt;/em&gt;with Cha Yang, &lt;em&gt;Temple of Dreams &lt;/em&gt;with Marcus Quiniones and &lt;em&gt;The

 &lt;p&gt;Artistic Producing Associate Randy Reyes has worked at the Guthrie (Hamlet, Pericles, Christmas Carol, Boats on the River, Comedy of Errors, and A Midsummer Night&#039;s Dream), the Playwright&#039;s Center, Chicago Ave Project, Thirst Theater, and The&lt;br /&gt;Minnesota Fringe (How to Cheat).&amp;nbsp; Regionally, Randy has worked at the&lt;br /&gt;Alliance, the Cincinnati Playhouse, Great Lakes Theater, Seattle Children&#039;s&lt;br /&gt;Theater (Tibet Through the Red Box by David Henry Hwang) and others.&amp;nbsp; He&lt;br /&gt;trained at the University of Utah Actor Training Program and The Juilliard&lt;br /&gt;School.&amp;nbsp; Randy recently started a 2 year TCG Future Leaders Fellowship under&lt;br /&gt;the mentorship of Rick Shiomi.&amp;nbsp; He would like to thank sweet Simone, her&lt;br /&gt;family and his family for all the love and support.&lt;/p&gt;

 &lt;p&gt;Managing Director Don Eitel has worked in the arts-non profit world in both creative and administrative capacities. His most recent work was as the Development Associate, Assistant to the Artistic Director at Park Square Theatre, a mid-sized company based in St. Paul, MN. He is also a Founding Member and departing Artistic Managing Director of Starting Gate Productions in the Twin Cities, a small, dynamic theatre company which was awarded &amp;ldquo;Best of the Twin Cities&amp;rdquo; for small theatre in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine in 2004. He was a music teacher at the East Metro Music Academy and has had earlier corporate experience in a variety of roles (Assistant Product Manager and Assistant to VP of Sourcing) with Paper Magic Group, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Music degree in guitar performance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

 &lt;p&gt;&lt;!--StartFragment--&gt;  &lt;p class=&quot;MsoNormal&quot;&gt;Joining the staff at Mu in 2007 as Marketing and Office Coordinator, Stacey Peterson brings with her a commitment to the performing arts both as an administrator and performer.&amp;nbsp; She received Bachelor of Arts degrees magna cum laude in English and Music Theory and Composition from St. Olaf College in 2005, and recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Ethnomusicology with first class honors from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick.&amp;nbsp; As a musician, she has studied classical flute with Sue Christian and Kay Sahlin, piano with Delores Willi, and Irish flute with Majella Bartley.&amp;nbsp; She has also held the position of principal flute in the prestigious St. Olaf Band, performed in a master class with London Symphony principal flautist Paul Edmund-Davies, and studied and performed with international artists from Ireland, Greece, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Palestine.&amp;nbsp; An aspiring composer, she has studied composition under Mary Ellen Childs, Peter Hamlin, Timothy Mahr, and Micheal O&amp;rsquo;Suilleabhain. In addition to her work at Mu, Stacey has recently begun teaching flute and piano to young students in the Twin Cities area, and continues to compose music inspired by her education and interest in music cultures of the world.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;!--EndFragment--&gt;   &lt;/p&gt;
